National Independent Party Convention Begins in Chitwan with Political Leaders in Attendance

Kathmandu. Leaders and representatives of various political parties are continuing to arrive in Bharatpur to participate in the inaugural session of the National Independent Party's first national convention starting today in Chitwan.

Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa is scheduled to reach Chitwan shortly, while former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, Communist Party of Nepal (UML) leader Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre) leader Barshaman Pun, and Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Rajendra Lingden have already reached the program venue.
