Government Faces Scrutiny from Ruling Party MPs

Kathmandu. While there are six parties represented in the House of Representatives, one party is in the ruling coalition and the remaining five are in the opposition bloc. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is in the ruling coalition, while the Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, Nepal Communist Party, Labour Culture Party, and Rastriya Prajatantra Party are in the opposition bloc.

It is natural for opposition parties to question the government's actions. MPs from all five parties have been holding the government accountable in parliament. Not only MPs from opposition parties but also MPs from RSP itself are at the forefront of raising concerns.
