Bhotekoshi flood dampens Teej celebrations

Kathmandu, Sept. 14: Teej, one of Nepal’s major festivals celebrated by Hindu women, has arrived this year without its usual festive mood, as the devastating flood that struck Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading on August 26, claiming hundreds of lives and destroying billions of rupees worth of property, has cast a shadow over the celebrations.
