6 Laborers Die in Under-Construction Bridge Collapse in Hamirpur, India

New Delhi. Six laborers died when an under-construction bridge collapsed in Hamirpur district of India's Uttar Pradesh state on Thursday night. Three other laborers buried under the debris were rescued and sent to the hospital.

According to the local administration, the structure suddenly collapsed while the bridge construction work was underway. The laborers working there at that time were buried under the debris of the bridge. Two of the deceased were from Hamirpur and four from Banda district.
