Surkhet. Heavy damage has been caused by the flood in the Baulah River located between Nalgad Municipality-1 and 2 of Jajarkot. The District Police Office Jajarkot's Information Officer Sudhir Kumar Khadka stated that the flood occurred last night due to continuous rainfall. The flood has damaged the physical structures of locals residing and doing business in Ward No. 1 Bairital. Houses and temporary sheds where 8 people were doing business have been washed away by the flood. 'There has been no human casualty,' said Information Officer Khadka, 'The Jajarkot-Dolpa road section under the Bheri Corridor has been completely obstructed due to the flood.' According to the police, local Man Bahadur BK's three-room shed has been completely washed away. Babita Mahara's temporary shed and grocery store, Krishna Mahar's one-room temporary shed, Meghraj Kumai's temporary shed where broiler chicken feed was kept, Nande Mahar's temporary shed with a clothes pressing machine, and Bal Bahadur BK's temporary shed housing a grocery store have all been washed away by the flood. Janak Bhandari's temporary shed housing a fresh house and the 100 broiler chickens inside have also been washed away, causing complete damage. Similarly, Dala Kami's temporary shed housing a grocery store has suffered partial damage due to mud and water entering. Chhabi Mahar's Bheri Province 1 Ha 2633 number auto has been buried in mud and water. Hiralal Gharti's Ga 1 Ta 7278 number tractor has suffered partial damage, buried in mud. Satyadev Chanara's water mill has also been completely washed away by the flood.
