EU Leaders Condemn Drone Incident in Romania, Vow Stronger Response to Russia

Brussels. Following the drone accident in Romania, top leaders of the European Union (EU) have reacted strongly and condemned the incident. After the incident, EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, called it a clear and serious violation of Romania's sovereignty and European airspace.

She stated that Russia should not be allowed to enter European airspace without punishment. EU Foreign Ministers had just on Thursday pledged to increase pressure on Russia, provide more aid to Ukraine, and strengthen Europe's defense readiness.
