SP Pawan Bhattarai of the District Police Complex Kathmandu told Ratopati that Pariyar, a resident of Athbiskot Municipality-12, Rukum Paschim, has been granted a 4-day extension for investigation. The police are investigating Pariyar, who was arrested from Tokha on Friday, under the offense of not hurting religious sentiments. The 27-year-old Pariyar had said in a speech at the Samvad Dabali in Anamnagar, 'We will set fire to monasteries.' He had warned of a nationwide rebellion if equal rights were not granted.
