Government Shifts EV Customs Duty from Peak Power to Value-Based

Kathmandu. The government has announced that the customs duty levied on electric vehicles (EVs) based on peak power capacity will now be levied based on value.

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle provided this information on Friday while presenting the budget statement for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/084 in the Federal Parliament.
