Man Arrested for Promoting Prostitution Online

Kathmandu. Police have arrested a young man on charges of posting a video promoting prostitution through social media. The arrested person is Saroj Lama, 24, from Phidim Municipality-3, Panchthar, who was residing in New Buspark, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-26.

Arrested on Bhadra 27, the police have taken a 5-day remand from the Kathmandu District Court to investigate the accused for the offense of not promoting prostitution. It has been found that the accused was making and posting videos saying 'I will arrange girls' for various prices.
