Nepal's BRICS Absence: A Matter of Diplomatic Immaturity, Not Exclusion

Kathmandu. The 18th BRICS Summit has been grandly concluded in New Delhi, the capital of neighboring friendly nation India.

Leaders of the world's major emerging economies, powerful nations advocating for a multipolar world order, influential countries of the Global South, and leaders representing nearly half of the world's population gathered on one platform. With such a large international gathering in its neighborhood, the ripple effect was clearly felt in Kathmandu. However, Nepal remained outside that formal door.
