North Korea Warns of 'Powerful Response' to US Arms Sale and Aid Plan

Kathmandu. After America advanced plans to sell missiles to South Korea and provide financial assistance to programs related to human rights and information flow in North Korea, Pyongyang has warned of a 'powerful response'.

A spokesperson for the North Korean Foreign Ministry said that the adverse effects of US arms sales to South Korea on the regional security environment cannot be ignored. His statement was released by the state-run media Korean Central News Agency on Thursday.
