Earthquake-Shaken Prithvi Highway: Efforts Intensified to Clear Mud and Debris-(photo feature)

Kathmandu: Efforts to reopen the Prithvi Highway, which was severely damaged by a massive flood in the Trishuli River, have been intensified, with security personnel and local residents working together to remove mud and debris from the roadway.

A large amount of mud and sludge has accumulated along the Baireni section of the highway. Security personnel have been mobilized with support from local residents to clear the debris and restore the road.
