Weather Forecast: Monsoon Influence Across Nepal with Potential for Heavy Rainfall

Kathmandu. Currently, the monsoon wind's influence is present across the country, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology informed. The monsoon low-pressure line is currently south of its average position.

Due to this, Koshi Province and the hilly and mountainous regions of the remaining provinces generally have cloudy skies, while the Tarai regions are partly to generally cloudy. Light to moderate rain is occurring in some places in Koshi, Bagmati, and Lumbini provinces, and in one or two places in Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
