Mangsebung Rural Municipality to Erect Statue of National Luminary Phalgunanda

Ilam. Mangsebung Rural Municipality is going to erect a statue of national luminary Phalgunanda Lingden. The rural municipality has started constructing a full-height statue of Phalgunanda in the proposed religious and cultural area Bhanjyang in Mangsebung-3.< /p>

The statue construction has been initiated with the objective of keeping the memory of Phalgunanda, who made significant contributions in the field of conservation of Kirat religion, language, customs, and culture, and social reform, alive for a long time, informed Hemanta Rai, Chairman of Mangsebung Rural Municipality. It is claimed that the Phalgunanda statue being constructed there will be the tallest and largest among those built in the world so far.< /p>
