Iran's IRGC Navy Warns of Military Response to US Interference in Strait of Hormuz

Tehran. Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy has warned of a 'strong military response' if the United States interferes in any way with the management of the Strait of Hormuz.

In a message issued through a public maritime radio channel, the IRGC Navy addressed ships operating in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, stating that the Strait of Hormuz is currently closed and passage through it is only possible with the permission of Iranian authorities and via designated routes.
