National Assembly Passes Two Election-Related Bills

Kathmandu. Two bills related to elections have been passed from the National Assembly. The House of Representatives Members Election (First Amendment) Bill, 2083 and the Voter List (First Amendment) Bill, 2083, received with a message from the House of Representatives, were passed by majority in today's meeting of the Assembly.

Earlier, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Sobita Gautam had presented separate proposals seeking to pass these bills in the meeting on behalf of Prime Minister and Home Minister Balendra Shah.
