Bangladesh offers assistance to Nepal

Kathmandu, Aug 27: The Embassy of Bangladesh in Kathmandu has been closely monitoring developments and assessing the post-flood situation in Nepal in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The embassy said that, so far, no Bangladeshi nationals have been reported dead or injured in the disaster. However, some Bangladeshi nationals were temporarily stranded on the Kathmandu–Pokhara highway due to a road blockage. They eventually managed to continue their journeys and reach their destinations.
