Scooter rider found dead four days after being swept away by flood

Mahesh Karki, 30, was carried away with his scooter by the swollen river while travelling from Kathmandu to Hetauda. His body was recovered after search teams excavated sand from the riverbed.

A 30-year-old man who was swept away along with his scooter by the swollen Sim river in Indrasarowar Rural Municipality of Makawanpur four days ago has been found dead, police said.
