CPN UML Reports Around 40% Membership Renewal

Kathmandu. Only about 40 percent of the members of CPN UML have renewed their party membership. The party had directed to complete the renewal of party membership by the end of Ashad.

In previous years, UML used to renew its membership in Falgun and Chaitra, but this time, citing the elections in Falgun, it had set the deadline for membership renewal until the end of Ashad. In the party's second general convention and 11th national general convention held in Bhadra last year, UML had arranged for two types of membership. Under this, it was classified as ordinary member and organized member.
