Aamir Khan Denies 'Love Jihad' Allegations Amidst Third Marriage Controversy

Mumbai. Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, who has been facing criticism on social media as a brand ambassador of 'love jihad' after his third marriage, has clarified and denied those allegations.

In a conversation with the website Rediff, Aamir clarified that all his three marriages were legal marriages and none of his wives converted their religion. He also revealed that his third wife, Gauri, is Christian, not Hindu. Citing an example of family secularism, Aamir said, 'My daughter Ira is married to a Hindu. My two sisters, Nikhat Khan and Farhat Khan, also have husbands who are Hindu, and my cousin Mansoor has also married a Christian woman.'
