Government Forms Committee to Address Usurious Lending Issues

Kathmandu. The Government of Nepal, in its Council of Ministers meeting held on Ashad 32, 2083 BS, has made a decision to solve the problems of citizens affected by improper lending (meter-byaj).

The government has decided to form a negotiation team to address the demands of citizens affected by meter-byaj and to advance necessary dialogue with them.
