Texas Floods Claim Two Lives Amidst Heavy Rainfall Warnings

Washington D.C. At least two people have died in floods caused by heavy rainfall in the state of Texas, USA. Although the water level has started to recede in some areas, officials have urged everyone to remain vigilant for the next 24 hours. According to meteorologists, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall again from Thursday night to Friday, which could further increase the risk of flooding.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott urged all citizens to stay away from floodwaters and flooded roads at a press conference on Thursday. 'Everyone living in Texas must exercise special caution for the next 24 hours. If we do not enter the rising water levels and flooded roads, we can avoid further loss of life,' he said.
