Kathmandu, Aug 29: Nine hydropower projects’ employees and workers numbering 537 are unaccounted for since the devastating flash floods that wiped out Bhotekoshi and Trishuli River corridors on August 26.
According to the Independent Power Producers’ Nepal (IPPAN), 361 out of 898 employees and workers of nine hydroelectric projects in Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts were rescued, while remaining 537 have remained out of contact.
