Social Activist Deepa Nepali Protests Against Inhuman Treatment and Oppression

Kathmandu. 'Is the room vacant?' Saying this, Deepa Nepali is on a hunger strike. For the past one and a half months, she has been sitting at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu protesting against the inhuman treatment and oppression happening in the city.

In an interview with Ratopati, social activist Deepa said that this movement is not just for the Dalit community but against the inhuman practices of all Nepalis. Ironically, the government is not listening to her voice. Even after one and a half months, the government has not shown readiness to listen to her demands.
