US House Passes Resolution to Halt Further Military Action Against Iran

Washington DC. The US House of Representatives has passed a resolution aimed at preventing President Donald Trump from taking further military action against Iran. The resolution, passed by a vote of 215 to 208, is seen as an indication that dissatisfaction with the Trump administration's Iran policy is growing even within his own Republican Party.

During the vote, four Republican lawmakers—Thomas Massie, Brian Fitzpatrick, Tom Barrett, and Warren Davidson—sided with Democratic lawmakers and supported the resolution. Jared Golden, a Democratic lawmaker from Maine, also voted in favor of the resolution this time.
