Bhishma Raj Angdembe Calls for Collective Commitment to End Caste Discrimination

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party leader Bhishma Raj Angdembe has stated that the National Day for the Elimination of Caste Discrimination and Untouchability should not be limited to a formal celebration but should be a day of collective commitment to end discrimination.

Issuing a message of goodwill on the occasion of the National Day for the Elimination of Caste Discrimination and Untouchability-2083, Angdembe mentioned that incidents of caste discrimination and untouchability prevalent in society convey that legal and constitutional arrangements alone are not sufficient.
