Prithvi Highway Sections in Dhading and Chitwan Reopened After Landslides

Kathmandu. The Prithvi Highway sections in Dhading and Chitwan, which were obstructed due to continuous rain since last night, have been reopened. According to the Nagdhunga-Mugling Road Project, traffic resumed in both directions at 11:00 AM on Sunday after small and large landslides at various locations were cleared.
Due to continuous rain since Saturday night, the road was completely blocked by landslides of stones and mud at about a dozen places including Jogimara, Jawang Khola, Fisling, and Chum Khola.
