Parliamentary Hearing Committee Convenes for Proposed Election Commissioners

Kathmandu. A meeting of the Parliamentary Hearing Committee has been convened for the parliamentary hearing of the proposed Chief Election Commissioner and Commissioners. Tuls Bahadur Kandel, Secretary of the National Assembly and also the Secretary of the Committee, informed that the committee meeting has been called for Tuesday at 11 AM and the agenda for the hearing of the proposed Chief Election Commissioner and Election Commissioners has been set.

The Parliamentary Hearing Committee Secretariat had called for complaints against the proposed names. The period for complaints, which was set for 10 days, ended on Sunday. However, as Sunday was a holiday, complaints would be accepted until Monday evening at 5 PM and then opened, informed Secretary Kandel.
