Postmortem Begins on Bhote Koshi Flood Victims' Bodies in Kaski; 46 Autopsies Completed

Pokhara. Postmortem has started on the bodies of those who lost their lives in the Bhote Koshi river flood, brought to Kaski. Some bodies have been identified and handed over to relatives. Out of 102 bodies brought to Kaski, postmortem has been completed on 46 so far, informed Chief District Officer Kuman Singh Gurung. According to him, 10 identified bodies have been handed over to relatives.

Samples have been collected for DNA testing of bodies whose identification could not be established during the postmortem. He said that the management process has been started as doctors have advised not to keep the autopsied bodies for a long time.
