Rainfall to ease from Wednesday

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM) has said that rainfall is expected to gradually decrease from Wednesday onward. According to the department, the country is currently under the influence of monsoon winds, while the monsoon trough remains north of its average position, resulting in widespread rainfall.
