Birgunj Road Expansion Resumes: Structures Demolished

Birgunj (Parsa), July 20: Work has begun to remove remaining structures in the Alakhiamath section from the Ghantaghar in Birgunj. The Road Division Office, Hetauda, has resumed work with renewed priority on the expansion of the main road section from Ghantaghar to Alakhiamath in Birgunj Metropolitan City.

The Division Office issued a notice stating, "Protection work of 25-25 meters on the right and left from the center line of the road in the section from Sirsiya Miteri Bridge to Bahudari Gandak Chowk of Tribhuvan Rajpath under this division has started. Therefore, we request that shops or other structures within that area be vacated immediately, no one should stay inside the houses, and belongings inside the houses should be removed."
