8 Dead, 19 Feared Trapped in Sikkim Tunnel Collapse After Heavy Rainfall

Namchi. At least 8 people have died when the under-construction tunnel of the Tista Hydropower Project was buried due to a massive landslide in Samardung of Namchi district in Sikkim, India. It is suspected that 19 other people who were caught in the accident are still trapped inside the tunnel.
