Government Increases Allowances for Security Personnel Involved in Disaster Response

Kathmandu. The government has decided to increase the allowance and daily snack expenses to encourage security personnel who risk their lives during natural disasters such as floods, landslides, and fires in rescue and relief operations.

The executive committee of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority made the decision to revise the service facilities for the manpower of the security bodies at its meeting on Thursday.
