Trump Vows Military Retaliation Against Iran and Houthis After Red Sea Tanker Attacks

Washington DC. US President Donald Trump has warned Iran and Yemen's Houthi rebels of severe military punishment after two Saudi oil tankers were attacked in the Red Sea. The Houthi group has claimed that they attacked the tankers with missiles and drones.

This incident has spread the West Asian conflict to another important maritime trade route. Concerns about the impact on global oil supply after this attack have caused a sharp rise in crude oil prices in the international market. Brent crude prices rose by more than 6 percent, exceeding 100 US dollars per barrel. This is the first time Brent prices have reached this level since May.
