Singapore. Nepal has succeeded in restricting Oman to a cheap score in the first semi-final of the Asian Games Men's Cricket Qualifier held in Singapore. Oman, who chose to bat first after winning the toss, could not withstand the tight bowling of the Nepali bowlers and were all out for just 94 runs in 19.4 overs.
Experienced fast bowler Sompal Kami bowled excellently for Nepal. He took 2 crucial wickets, conceding 26 runs in 4 overs, including 1 maiden. Similarly, spinner Shahab Alam also bowled tightly, giving away 19 runs for 1 wicket in 3.4 overs.
