U.S. Embassy hands over $1 million of health equipment package

Kathmandu, July 24: The US Embassy in Kathmandu has handed over a refrigerated vaccine transport vehicle and a maternal, newborn and child health (MNCH) equipment package worth US$1 million to strengthen Nepal’s healthcare system.
The handover ceremony was held on Friday at the Department of Health Services in Teku, where U.S. Chargé d’Affaires ad interim Scott Urbom joined government officials to formally transfer the equipment.
