Dengue Infection Rate Decreases in Jhapa

Jhapa. The rate of dengue infection in the district has been decreasing of late. According to the District Health Office, the number of dengue patients has decreased compared to the previous year due to increased public awareness, active participation of local levels, and the effectiveness of the 'search and destroy' campaign.

According to the data of the Health Office, two thousand dengue-infected people were found in the district in the fiscal year 2081/82, while this number decreased to 601 in the last fiscal year.
