Army Rescues 98 from Bhote Koshi Flood in Rasuwa

Kathmandu. The army has rescued 98 people from the Timure area of Rasuwa, the most affected by the flood in Bhote Koshi, Rasuwa. The Directorate of Public Relations and Information, Army, stated that 98 people, including 15 foreign nationals, were rescued on Thursday morning.
Seven people were rescued from the under-construction Trishuli–2 Hydropower's Mailung Tunnel, located in the Uttargaya and Ama Chhedung rural municipalities of Rasuwa, via army helicopter. The 216-megawatt hydropower was under construction. On Thursday morning, 105 people were rescued from two locations, according to the Directorate of Public Relations and Information, Army.
