Ring Road’s Chappal Karkhana-Dhobikhola section set for widening

The one-kilometre stretch will be widened into an eight-lane road with service lanes, with construction expected to begin before Dashain if the tender process stays on track.

The government has moved ahead with another section of the long-delayed Kathmandu Ring Road widening project, with the road division office inviting bids to widen a one-kilometre stretch from Chappal Karkhana to near the Dhobikhola bridge.
