Man Charged Over Facebook Videos Falsely Claiming CIB Chief Leaked Home Minister's Bank Details

Kathmandu. The District Government Attorney's Office, Kathmandu, has filed a case against a man accused of publishing misleading Facebook videos alleging that the chief of the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) leaked Home Minister Sudan Gurung's banking information to the media.

The charge sheet, filed at the Kathmandu District Court, names Min Kumar Gurung, 33, of Barpak Sulikot Rural Municipality-4, Gorkha, as the accused. Authorities said Gurung is currently abroad and has been listed as an absconder.
