17-year-old student allegedly killed over mobile phone dispute in Baglung

Gandaki, July 16: Lajin Thapa, 17, from Badigad Rural Municipality-1 in Baglung was allegedly beaten to death by his colleagues after he refused to give his mobile phone to them.

Thapa had left his home in the evening of July 17 to celebrate the birthday of Asim Ban of the same locality. His body was retrieved from a local river last Thursday.
