Motorcycle Burned After Man Killed by Security Forces in Sunsari

Kathmandu. Locals have burned a motorcycle in Captainganj, Ward No.-3 of Devanganj Rural Municipality in Sunsari. An angry mob set fire to a motorcycle at the house of the ward chairman of Ward No.-3 after 30-year-old Omprakash Mehta died from a security force's bullet. An official from the District Police Office, Sunsari, told Ratopati that efforts are underway to apprehend those who set the fire.
Mehta died from a security force's bullet while controlling a clash between Hindu and Muslim communities. His body has been kept at Neuro Hospital in Biratnagar. A security official from Sunsari said he was shot once. Two more people are seriously injured in the incident. They are also said to have been shot. The two seriously injured are undergoing treatment at Virat Nursing Home.
