Ministers Monitor Progress on Managing Hanging Internet, Telephone, and Television Cables in Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu. Minister of Communications and Information Dr. Vikram Timilsina and Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Birajbhakta Shrestha jointly monitored the progress of managing hanging and unused internet, telephone, and television cables on road poles in the Kathmandu Valley. Reaching areas like Gaushala, Old Baneshwor, and Jadibuti, the two ministers inspected the work of removing cables and obtained information about the progress from the officials of the concerned bodies.
The government has launched a campaign to remove disorganized cables in six routes in the first phase: Tripureshwor-Kalimati-Kalanki, Jadibuti-Pepsicola, Tripureshwor-Lazimpat, Samakhushi-Town Planning-Gongbu, Kirtipur area, and Old Baneshwor-Gaushala-Chabahil.
