Legal action taken against 2,431 business firms in Gandaki province

Kathmandu, July 28: Legal action has been taken against 2,431 business firms in Gandaki Province for tampering with and using illegal weight and measuring instruments.

Manoj Pokharel, Head of the Quality and Standards Office in Pokhara, informed that legal action will be taken according to the Measurement Act, 2025, and the Consumer Protection Act, 2075 if measuring instruments are used irregularly and illegally.
