Weather forecast for today: moderate to heavy rain expected in several places

Kathmandu, July 29: The country is presently under the influence of monsoon winds. The Monsoon Trough lies around its average position in the eastern part and north of its average position in western Nepal, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
