Indian National Arrested with Brown Sugar in Jhapa

Jhapa. An Indian national has been arrested with 50 grams 50 milligrams of brown sugar in Katlamari, Jhapa Rural Municipality-3. On Tuesday night around 09:40, a joint team of Taghandubba Police Post and Kakadvitta Narcotics Control Bureau suspected a motorcycle with BR 37AB 5859 number coming from India towards Nepal in Katlamari, Jhapa Rural Municipality-03. During the check, a substance resembling the narcotic drug brown sugar, weighing 50 grams 50 milligrams, was found with MD Faruk, approximately 22 years old, residing in Kishan Ganj Dhantola Mohamari, country India. He has been taken into custody with the narcotic drug and motorcycle and further investigation is underway.
