Chitwan. Prices of poultry products have started to increase after the bird flu disease seen in birds came under control. The prices of eggs, meat, and chicks have started to return to their previous state.
Nepal Layers Poultry Farmers Association has increased the support price of eggs from today. The price has been increased based on the rates of the farms. According to the association's president Binod Pokharel, the price has been increased by Rs 30 per crate compared to the previous price. Large eggs have been increased from Rs 500 to Rs 530 per crate, medium from Rs 470 to Rs 500, and small eggs have been increased from Rs 2,900 to Rs 3,000 per tray (seven crates). Excel eggs have increased from Rs 515 to Rs 545.
