Karnali Chief Minister Appointed, Oath Ceremony Today

Surkhet. The oath-taking ceremony of Karnali's newly appointed Chief Minister, Mangal Bahadur Shahi, who was appointed on Tuesday, has been scheduled for this afternoon. According to the Province Chief's office, the oath-taking ceremony has been scheduled for 3 PM.

Shahi has been appointed Chief Minister with the support of CPN UML. It is reported that Shahi will form a cabinet of the smallest possible size today. CPN has stated that the cabinet is unlikely to be completed today as discussions need to be held between the two parties for the distribution of ministries.
