Pokhara Metropolis Orders Removal of Structures Violating Phirke Khola Standards

Pokhara. Pokhara Metropolitan City has issued a notice in the names of homeowners to immediately remove structures built by violating the standards of Phirke Khola. Homeowners and organizations who had previously committed to removing structures themselves have been told to remove such structures immediately.

The metropolis has warned that it will continue the work of removing unauthorized structures built in the approximately 8-kilometer long Phirke Khola area, flowing from Andherikuna to Phewa Lake. The metropolis claims that after the metropolis symbolically started removing larger structures, the concerned homeowners and organizations verbally committed to removing the remaining structures themselves.
