Prime Minister Balen Shah's Tax Reversal Announcement Unimplemented

Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balen Shah's announcement to withdraw tax has not yet been implemented. The announcement by Balen to withdraw the 3 percent equalization fee in the health and education sector, brought through the budget for the fiscal year 2083/84, has not been implemented even after a week.

Balen had announced the tax withdrawal on Facebook on July 5 last week. The cabinet meeting held the next day formally announced the decision to withdraw those taxes.
